This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse and Pony Society (UK). *Both the owner and the rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS (UK) nor must the horse or pony be registered with CHAPS (UK) to compete, but in order to qualify they must both be Showing members and the horse/pony must be registered with the Society BEFORE this show for the qualification to be valid (except Ponies (UK)/BSPS qualifiers where membership and registration, if not already in place, MUST be made within 14 days of qualification for qualification to be valid.) Memebrship cards and qualification cards must be produced in the ring; the latter being signed by the judge in two places. These classes are also qualifiers for Ponies Uk Summer Championships, please refer to your CHAPS handbook. See CHAPS Members` Handbook or www.chapsuk.com for rulings.

The CHAPS (UK) Championship Show will be held on 4th, 5th and 6th September 2009. Shows held on or after Championship Show will count as 2009 Qualifiers. Members apply in writing to CHAPS (UK) for appropriate qualifier card. Ponies (UK) Summer Championship will be held on the 12th-15th August 2009.

All stallions entering these classes must be graded with CHAPS (UK).  ID cards must be carried in the ring for inspection

Class 1. The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK) Open Youngstock Qualifier Class.

Open to horse/pony yearlings, two year olds and three year olds. No Foals “This class also qualifies for the P(UK) Summer Championships - Hollyland Stud In Hand Youngstock Final”

Class2. The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK) Inhand  Non-Native pony Qualifier Class.

Class 3. The Coloured Horse & Pony (UK) Inhand Native/Cob/Traditional Type pony Qualifier Class.

Not to exceed 14.2hh (148cms) “This class also qualifies for the P(UK) Summer Championships - Clarendon Coloureds In Hand Final”

Class 4. The Coloured Horse & Pony Society (UK) Inhand  Non-Native Horse Qualifier Class.

Exceeding 15hh (153cms) “This class also qualifies for the P(UK) Summer Championships - Clarendon Coloureds In Hand Final”

Class 5. The Coloured Horse & Pony (UK) Inhand Native/Cob/Traditional Type Horse Qualifier Class.

The Veteran Horse Society Showing Championships are open to both Members & Non Members

of the Veteran Horse Society. Please note that ONLY Veteran Horse Society Members are eligible

to compete in the Regional Championship. Qualification cards will ONLY be given the first 3

Members with their V.H.S. Membership/Horse Registration cards/Covering Letter from head office

or National Show Office as proof of membership to the Society. The Regional winners will go on to

compete at the Veteran Horse Society Showing Championship Supreme Final at Olympia in

December.

The first to sixth placed competitors will receive the Invitation card in each VHS class
